make it look like two college drop outs were living there.
Torn posters, empty pizza boxes and cigarette butts went a
long way toward creating that illusion. Then the rest of the
crew arrived a couple hours later and D.P. John Cooper
began lighting the scene. It was an interior night scene and
since it was still broad daylight outside, the camera depart-
ment blacked out the windows to make it as dark as
possible. While all of this was going on, Nick was working
with Christian and Craig on the scene, going over the
