Commentary on the Green Line (cont'd) characters should act. My job as director was to take these ideas and transform them into something that works for the whole film not just the one story or the one character. Usually this can cause a lot of problems on a set where the writer is being directed. But it worked to our advantage, because the GREEN LINE ended up being scattered throughout the shooting schedule, having Christian already comfortable with the character made for an easier transition on days when we didn't have much time to rehearse.       |
