The dinner scene in the YELLOW LINE was the only scene in
the film where we were able to shoot my entire shot list and
have time left over to shoot several wish list shots. It also
was one of the most fun to direct. We had a full day of
rehearsal prior to the shooting of the scene and I'd have
to say it was amazing to watch the characters come to life.
Casting made the scene. Everyone played off each other
beautifully. What I really wanted in the YELLOW LINE was
for the main character Anna (played by Josette Murray-Ballo)
and the supporting character Tony (played by Ben Fernebok)
